The much awaited MMDA Traffic Navigator for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad has just been released on the App Store. The app which is available as a free download lets you navigate your way through Metro Manila traffic and lets you view traffic situation in System, Map or Line View.
The app’s System View provides you with a grid-like presentation of the major roads in Metro Manila covering EDSA, C5, SLEX, Quezon Avenue, Espana, and Roxas BLVD. From this view, you can quickly see the traffic conditions in those roads. The Map View plots the same grid using Google Maps while the line view gives you the traffic conditions per road.
As bonus features to the app, you’ll also find the MMDA FAQs containing useful information about traffic violations, no smoking policy, anti-littering law and other rules, ordinances, policies and more – issued by MMDA which you would normally find in the MMDA website.
